Drive 55 miles east of Grand Junction and turn south off I-70 onto Colorado Highway 65. Drive 10 miles to Colorado 330 east through Collbran and drive the final 12 miles to the park entrance. Vega Resort is about a mile past the park entrance on the left.

The Resort resides on 30 Acres of land that borders 117 acres of BLM land. The sparsely populated
surrounding area provides for a wonderful wildlife habitat. It is not uncommon to find deer and elk wondering the property. The Vega State Park also borders the resort and provides a beautifully maintained 655 acre state park that encompasses the Vega Reservoir, the largest body of water in the Grand Valley area. The lake is approximately two miles long and provides ample room for boating, water skiing and fishing. Rainbow Trout, Cutthroats, Brooks, Browns and Cutbows are all catch-able from shore as well as from a boat. The State park borders the Grand Mesa National Park. Reaching heights of 11,000 feet and cradling over 300 mountain lakes the Grand Mesa National Park is an oasis of hunting, fishing, hiking, four wheeling and all terrain vehicle (ATV) / off highway vehicle (OHV) riding. Over 100 miles of OHV trails are accessible from Vega State Park.
We hope you will come and visit for a get away and enjoy the wonderful Colorful Colorado outdoors.
